Barbara's Fan Mail

Ms. Terry,

Just saw you on WRC in Washington: you can change my oil anytime! Juz kidding: great segment.

Hello,

How are you? I was wondering where did you purchase the shirt on the How Athletes Roll book? Where do you buy your race clothing at? They are very pretty. The Gillette pantsuit on your site is very pretty too. I did a web search but came up with nothing.

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks and Happy New Year!!

Destiny

Dear Ms. Terry,

I thoroughly enjoy your videos and have recommended my daughters watch them also. I only have one safety comment, please wear safety glasses when cleaning the batteries. It's to easy to get acid in an eye. Again, your great and I hope to see you continue.

Best wishes,

KC Kampton

Dear Barbara,

I am grateful for your expertise. I missed getting to the Houston Car Show in time to meet you. Hopefully, I will have an opportunity to do so in the future.

Michael

Barbara,

It was a pleasure meeting you last week at KTLA lot. Thanks again for the ride around the parking lot. I wish you the best of luck! Be Safe!

Tina,

Tell BT I said Hi...I used to walk her dog Rocky.

BT is an amazing woman!! The most motivated chick I have ever seen in action!

Jim

Dear Barbara,

I really admire what you do. I seen you on the KTLA morning show. You are a beautiful and talented woman. I hope we can keep in contact with each other. Could I have a autograph picture of you? Will you make any appearances in the Los Angeles area soon? I will love to meet you. I will love to get to know you better.

Thank you.

Love,

Mike

Hi Barbara,

This is so helpful. I imagine you must get thousands of emails. Thank you for responding to response to your initial email. Now I’m really going to get this thing fixed! My wife and I both thank you BIG TIME.

Hi Barbara,

Hi, my name is Tatiana and I am 18. I want to become a mechanic but am always being put down by family and other people. Do you know what would be a good way for me to get started?

PS. . .I'm a huge fan!

Tatiana

Hi Barb,

I saw you on the Good Day Houston show. I am wondering if you like Mexican food, Margarita’s and great conversation. As a player and scout...Baseball is a big part of my like as well as golf, fishing, camping...most anything involving sports. I am a pitcher and I play in Houston, Dallas, all over Tex, Phoenix, Cal, LasVegas, and Fl. I would like to send more info but before I do, I would respectfully like to ask for your permission to do so. I am not a bad cook either.

Respectfully,

Bill

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for your response Barbara. You are doing well with your career and hope you enjoy the racing.

Best Wishes

Troy

Hi Barbara,

I wanted to thank you for the t-shirts, autographed posters, etc. that you donated and let you know that the tournament was a success and we are looking forward bigger and better next year.

Thanks again for your kindness and have a wonderful weekend.

Cindy

Hi Barbara,

Just wanted to let you know that I finally saw you on TV last night. I turned on the one channel that I get (no cable, remember) and there you were on Inside Edition demonstrating how to check tire pressure. You looked good and it was cool to see you on TV.

Hope you’re doing well!

Todd

BT,

I apologize for having taken so long to get back to you with updates on the TurboBird, but frustration had been running high on my list. Having to rent a vehicle and deal with multiple solution scenarios and still not having a reason for why has been pissing me off. The update are as follows, a new iron block forged 347 is being in Houston then it goes to Arlington to be installed followed by a retune before I finally get to drive my bad motor scooter again and rest assured I will be demanding equal performance and expecting to run sub 11 second quarters. I’m getting my engine back because I’m still very confused as to what and why things went haywire. After much consideration I reasoned that possibly the driving I did before it was finally released to me might have been the cause but I just can’t make my mind accept it. As for the oil squirters you previously asked me about all I can say is that the engine was a stock 5.7 LS1 V8 aluminum block engine with the ws06 ram air addition so not sure about those squirters.

Next time you visit Houston I’ll take you for a ride... unless you’re scared?

Hi Barbara,

Saw you on the Tucson Morning Blend. Great segment!! How does one obtain an autographed picture of you?

Hello,

Please express my great wishes to Barbara after her interview on the “JP Godsey Show”. She was funny, articulate, and had some great tips…some of which I learned a thing or two.

Again, please let her know she was an excellent guest and would love to keep in contact with her.

Have a great day.

To Ms. Barbara Terry,

I received the photos that I sent you for autographing in the mail a few days ago today; they will be placed in the album that I keep the other men and women of the racing world, for safe keeping. I am most grateful for you taking the time to autograph my photos, thank you.

I sincerely hope that your careers will continue to give you much happiness. Do be careful.

Sincerely,

Peter D. Minix Former SGT. United States Marine Corps Former California Army National Guard Member

Hi Barbara,

Love your articles on Old Cars and Stuff. Tell Tim that you need a raise. My question is: Are you related to Bob, Wreatha and Brent Terry? They now live in Tennesee.

I am a member of 9 car clubs so they are too many to list. Happy Holidays!

Jim Garner

Hi Barbara!!

I just wanted to say hi and was a pleasure meeting you in person. Ian gave me one of your signed posters and I hung it up at the shop. I heard you had some bad luck in the race, but that’s racing, right. I also saw the videos on SPEED.com, they were very cool. Thanks for giving us the plug in your production, my bosses loved it. If your in LA any time call or E-mail me, I’m always going to races, car shows, parties anything that revolves around racing. Once again it was great to meet you and I’m sure I will see you in the future.

Adios Amiga,

Terence

Hi Barbara!!

Tiberia here from Barking Rocks Winery in Granbury TX. We are friends and supporters of Dickey Racing and will be tracking and pulling for you both in the 500. If your ever out this way stop in for a glass of wine.

Hi Barbara,

I would like to congratulate you for your videos on site about.com. And i would like to say that you are pretty nice, i really love to see you explaining everything about cars. What a pity that your tips about cars don't correspond exactly our reality here in Brazil.

Well, I've started to hear your videos because i´ve been studying your native language. Since i´ve been loving it.

Thank you,

Hi Barbara,

I still think the Marines should do a photoshoot of you leaning over a Hummer, put it on a Pinup (like Gable in World War II) and send them to the troops in Iraq ...good luck with your career.

Hi Barbara,

I am sorry I did not get the opportunity to say good bye after the conclusion of the On Wheel Awards Show. I have been able to catch your informational clips on various shows and wanted to make contact with you.

I was unaware of the talent you have when it comes to automobiles and was very impressed to see you on TV presenting information to potential customers. Being in the car business can be a challenging profession and you seem to have found a niche that fits you very well.

I know you don't remember me but I am the tall car dealer from Detroit and I meant you the night before the show at Seldom Blues along with the representative from Hyundai.

I just wanted to say hello and wish you all the luck with your shows..

Drop me a line sometimes!

Bill

Hi Barbara,

Thank you so much for your help. I will follow up as you directed and I have no doubt it will work. Not only only are you great but pretty too.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Chris Reyes

Hi Barbara,

I watched your videos on this site today and really enjoyed them.

Keep up the good work and best wishes with your future.

Ray

Hey Barb

I was looking at your articles in Mens Fitness, that's a pretty popular magazine, I'm impressed by you being there so many times.

Jerry

Hi Barbara,

Thanks a million. I always new women could do any thing that men do. Go Girl.

Barbara

Your the best down here in Houston.

Another mention for us this Sunday...thanks, so much! Do other BBB's ever tell you that? Just seeing if they were raised in a barn!

Anyway...WE appreciate your plug!

And...this Sunday you were up to over half a page...

One more comment...and, OK...I know you get the flirtly stuff all the time...but I thought you would appreciate this...

I was at a meeting with some DEALERS...Texas is considering a registration law for mechanics...it failed to get any steam for this session...hey, we can't even pay for schools...but it will come back in 2009. Anyway...one mechanic was railing about your coverage in the paper..."Like SHE really knows anything about cars..." and before I could even say a word...a dealer calmly said..."You are full of it...have you seen her site? She
